Taipei, Taiwan’s largest city, known as the culture of the kaleidoscope of Taiwan’s capital city. It is home to many iconic landmarks from the tallest buildings to the biggest collection of Chinese art, Taipei would invite you into a world of fascinating contrasts - a mix of the modern and traditional, with a generous dash of energy and friendly smiles to make this one of your most memorable trips to Asia.

Taipei 101 (台北 101) is an engineering marvel and the first building of its kind in the world. Spanning 101 stories above the ground at a height of 1,671 ft (509.2 m), designed by C.Y. Lee and C.P. Wang as a symbol of technology’s evolution fused with Asian tradition. The building features many pan-Chinese and Asian elements mixed with a postmodern style and is designed to withstand typhoons and earthquakes common in Taiwan.

The building is home to offices, a shopping mall, a vast array of restaurants, an observation deck, and the world’s fastest elevators. The mall and food court remain the main attraction for locals while overseas tourists, eager to glimpse a bird’s eye view of the city, make up the majority of patrons visiting the observation floors. With a variety of events held on-site each year such as the New Year’s Eve fireworks display, there’s no doubt that regardless of the loss of its ‘world’s tallest’ title, this culturally iconic building will remain one of the most visited skyscrapers for many years to come.

Taipei 101 is scaled-down with height = 8.2in / 208.28mm. Taipei 101 is also a foundation to be inspired me to design the Taipei skyline. Actually, the Taipei 101 also is built by using the same technique as the real one. Its design concept was incorporated Chinese Pagoda form and bamboo flowers. It was my old project in 2017 and it was renewed in 2020 by HA Studio.

Huynh Architecture was transferred into HA Studio in December 2019. It would offer models suitable for display in the home and office as well as develop for all with an interest in travel, architectural culture, history, and design. Each set has a size and scale with the true-to-life color depiction. In addition, HA Studio celebrates the world of architecture through LEGO bricks.

I think this idea will be a great Lego Set of approximately 318 Lego bricks, that many people could enjoy! Taipei 101 is an amazing heart of Taipei city, a beautiful tower, and it is awesome to build it in Lego bricks!
